My name is Chris Ackerley. I am a third generation Arizonan, having grown up in Tucson and Douglas. I attended Greenfields High School in Tucson and graduated from NAU. Currently I teach physics and math at Amphi High School. I live in Sahuarita with my wife Melissa, and our children Evan and Ella. My family is deeply rooted in Southern Arizona.

Our state, and particularly our region, faces a series of challenges if we are to restore Arizona following the recent unprecedented economic storm. These challenges need to be met while upholding the principles of limited government, local control, and fiscal responsibility--ideas that are the cornerstones of my political beliefs.
